An earth where new technology is outlawed. It is always the 50s with the same movies, music, cars and technology (no tv, digital hand watches, etc.), the Bureau of Anti-Technology was founded to keep any new technology from being accessed and to arrest those who either make it or possess it, the people of San Francisco (at least) were more in touch with religion in that world.
After Hiroshima was destroyed by the atom bomb, the US became fearful of technology and as a consequence, technology hadn't advanced beyond the level of 1950's.
Double Info:
- Quinn Mallory died of Polio when he was a child.
- Michael Mallory didn't die in that world.
