Welcome to the wiki for the American science fiction television series Sliders! Sliders ran for five seasons from 1995 to 2000. It focused on a group of travelers who "slide" between parallel worlds through an interdimensional wormhole accidentally invented by a university student. The first three seasons of Sliders were shown on the FOX Network. The SciFi Channel produced the fourth and fifth seasons. It was announced in July 1999 that Sliders had been cancelled, and that there would not be a sixth season.
